  • Laser spectroscopy of semiconductors; time-resolved laser spectroscopy of highly excited semiconductors;
  • Studies of nanocrystals of semiconductors and quantum dots;
  • Group-theoretical analysis of allowed and forbidden quantum transitions in semiconductors, quantum mechanical calculations and computer simulations of nanoscale systems;
  • Mass-spectroscopy of nanoclusters; high resolution transmission electron microscopy and electron diffraction of nanoparticles
  • Optical spectroscopy of semiconductor nanoscrystals, macromolecules
